Our signature metabolic evaluation combines advanced laboratory testing, body composition analysis, Continuous Glucose Monitoring, nutrition assessment, hormone evaluation, and physician interpretation to identify the underlying factors influencing your health.
A Comprehensive Metabolic Assessment is a clinician-ordered, clinician-interpreted evaluation of the systems that drive how you think, feel, and age. It pairs a full lab panel with a 90-minute results consultation and ends with a written, personalized optimization plan.
Metabolic and cardiovascular foundation: comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), complete blood count (CBC), HbA1c, fasting insulin, lipid panel with apoB and LDL particle size (LDL-P)
Inflammatory and vascular markers: hs-CRP, homocysteine, fibrinogen, uric acid
Full thyroid panel: TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, thyroid antibodies (TPO, TgAb)
Hormones: total and free testosterone, SHBG, estradiol, DHEA-S, and a cortisol pattern read where clinically indicated
Nutrient status: vitamin D, B12, ferritin, magnesium RBC
Liver and kidney function: AST, ALT, GGT, eGFR, BUN, creatinine
Additional markers are added when your history points to them. If you've already run recent labs through your primary care office or another practice, bring them along, and they get integrated into the read.
The Comprehensive Metabolic Assessment is built for the high-functioning adult who has run the basic workup, been told the labs are normal, and still wants a deeper read. Good candidates include:
Adults 35–75 with persistent symptoms that haven't been explained by routine primary-care labs
High performers who want a baseline assessment before symptoms accumulate
Patients with a family history of metabolic disease, cardiovascular disease, or cognitive decline
People researching functional medicine but wanting NP-led medical oversight rather than a self-serve dashboard or a wellness-influencer protocol
Patients already working with a primary care physician who want a complementary, deeper metabolic interpretation
This is an evaluation service, not emergency or acute care. If you're managing an active medical issue, your primary care physician or specialist remains the right point of contact for that condition.
Every Sante program moves through the same five-stage process, the ADORE Framework, adapted to the clinical question in front of you.
Most patients complete the full Assess-to-Decode cycle in two to three weeks: intake, lab draw, results return, results consultation. The consultation runs over secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth.
Collect comprehensive health information, laboratory testing, body composition, nutrition, and lifestyle data.
Interpret findings to identify underlying metabolic patterns and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Develop a personalized roadmap addressing nutrition, exercise, metabolic health, hormone balance, and preventive care.
Repeat key measurements over time to monitor progress and adjust recommendations.
Equip patients with a clear understanding of their health and practical strategies for long-term success.
Sante Health is led by Lovelle Valencia, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, PMHNP) with specialized training in functional medicine (IFM), metabolic health (A4M), and psychiatric mental health.
Comprehensive metabolic assessment sits at the center of that training. A4M shapes the metabolic-marker interpretation. IFM shapes the systems-based pattern recognition across endocrine, inflammatory, and nutrient axes. PMHNP context shapes the read on how metabolic state shows up in mood, cognition, and energy. Every panel is ordered, interpreted, and translated into a plan by Lovelle directly, under continuous medical oversight.
