Sante Health provides medical sexual wellness care for men and women: low-intensity shockwave therapy, platelet-rich plasma injection therapy, and radiofrequency treatments. Every plan starts with a hormone and vascular workup, because sexual function is usually reporting on something upstream of itself.
Most sexual wellness clinics start with the device. You book the procedure, you get the procedure. We start with the workup, because changes in sexual function are frequently downstream of testosterone, estrogen, thyroid, blood glucose, blood pressure, medication effects, or vascular health, and treating the surface while the driver goes unexamined produces a short-lived result.
So the first visit is diagnostic. We look at hormone panels, metabolic markers, cardiovascular risk factors, medications, and history. If the finding is hormonal, hormone care may be the answer and a procedure may be unnecessary. If the finding is vascular or tissue-related, the procedures below are what we reach for. Usually it is both, and the plan runs them together.
Changes in erectile function or firmness
Reduced sensitivity, arousal, or response
Low libido that has not shifted with lifestyle changes
Vaginal dryness, discomfort, or laxity, including after childbirth or menopause
Sexual changes that started alongside a new medication
Results that plateaued on hormone care alone
Symptoms your primary care visit did not have time to cover
Two pathways, both built off the same workup.
Care begins with a vascular assessment alongside hormone and metabolic testing, because erectile changes are often an early vascular signal rather than an isolated problem. Two in-office procedures are available. Low-intensity shockwave therapy applies acoustic pulses to penile tissue to support blood flow and vascular function. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection therapy concentrates growth factors from your own blood and delivers them into tissue. Where testing points to low testosterone as a driver, testosterone replacement therapy may do more than either procedure, and we will say so.
Sexual wellness care follows The Sante Method, the same five-phase structure that governs every program here.
Symptom history, hormone panels, metabolic and cardiovascular markers, medication review, and a physical assessment.
Separate what is hormonal from what is vascular, tissue-related, medication-driven, or a combination.
Build the plan: hormone optimization, procedures, or both, sequenced in the order that makes sense.
Reassess after the plan has had time to work, then adjust based on what actually changed.
Explain the mechanism and the evidence so you can judge whether to continue.
Sexual wellness care at Sante Health is delivered through a collaborative care model led by Lovelle C. Valencia, MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, Founder and Lead Provider, with physician oversight from Harris Wasser, MD, JD, Medical Director of Metabolism and Endocrinology. This is medical and procedural care. Sante Health does not provide sex counseling or relationship counseling, and we will refer you to a qualified specialist when that is the right resource.
Delivery model. Care at Sante Health is telehealth-first. The consultation, comprehensive metabolic assessment review, planning, and follow-up visits happen securely online from anywhere in California. Procedures require an in-office appointment at our Westlake Village location, and the booking flow flags those in advance. See our full telehealth delivery model for specifics. Consultations run about 60 minutes and procedures run 30 to 45 minutes.
Lovelle has helped reimagine Sante Health into a modern practice where brain health, metabolic medicine, and medical aesthetics work together to improve long-term health and quality of life. As a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, she integrates primary care, metabolic health, and evidence-based mental health principles through The Sante Method to create personalized care plans that support both physical and emotional well-being.
Dr. Wasser provides physician oversight for metabolic medicine, diabetes care, endocrine disorders, obesity medicine, thyroid disease, and hormone optimization, bringing nearly four decades of clinical endocrinology experience to Sante Health.
Sexual function is a legitimate clinical concern and a useful diagnostic signal, and it is worth more than a rushed conversation at the end of an annual physical. The consultation establishes what is actually driving the change and whether a procedure is the right response.
