Personalized Virtual Care Across California

Sante Health delivers comprehensive virtual care designed around your life—not your location. Through secure telehealth visits, we provide personalized care for brain health, metabolic medicine, diabetes care, hormone optimization, longevity medicine, and physician-led medical wellness throughout California. Every visit follows The Sante Method, ensuring the same thoughtful, evidence-based care whether you're meeting with us virtually or in person.

How Telehealth Works at Sante Health

Receiving exceptional healthcare should be convenient without sacrificing quality. At Sante Health, every virtual consultation follows the same personalized clinical process used during in-office visits, allowing us to develop thoughtful treatment plans while maintaining continuity of care.

Here's what telehealth covers and what requires an in-office appointment.

What Telehealth at Sante Health Is Not

Telehealth is not a replacement for every aspect of medical care. Instead, it extends the relationship between you and your healthcare team by providing convenient access for consultations, follow-up visits, education, treatment planning, and ongoing management.

What sets this telehealth practice apart from typical "virtual care":

Comprehensive labs are part of the model, not optional. Telehealth without lab data is symptom-management. We measure first.

The same provider every visit. You build a clinical relationship with a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, not a rotating panel of strangers.

Time for the conversation. Initial visits are 60 to 90 minutes. Follow-ups are 30 to 60 minutes. Long enough to actually understand what's happening.

A structured framework. Every patient moves through the ADORE Framework: Assess, Decode, Optimize, Refine, Empower. Telehealth doesn't shorten the framework. It makes the framework accessible.

Care Provided by Lovelle Valencia, NP, FNP, PMHNP

Care is delivered by Lovelle Valencia, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with specialized training in functional medicine (IFM), metabolic health (A4M), and psychiatric mental health. She is licensed to practice in California and personally delivers most consultations.

This combination of training is what makes the telehealth model viable for the work we do. Metabolic interpretation, hormone management, GLP-1 protocols, and metabolic psychiatry-informed assessment can all be done well over video when the clinician has the right credentials and the visit has enough time. Procedural care is the part that requires the office.

Visiting Our Westlake Village Office

While many patients receive ongoing care virtually, our Westlake Village office remains available for consultations, advanced assessments, laboratory review, aesthetic treatments, and services requiring an in-person visit. This hybrid model allows patients to receive the right care, in the right setting, at the right time.

Patients who live further out (San Diego, the Bay Area, Sacramento, the Central Valley, the desert communities) typically come in two to four times a year for procedures, and run everything else through telehealth from home. We coordinate in-office visits in batches when possible, so a single trip handles a pellet insertion, a CGM placement, and any other hands-on services on the same visit.

When you do come in, the office is intentionally quiet, grounded, and built for focused clinical conversations. You'll know in advance exactly what services you're scheduled for, the duration, and what to bring.

Frequently Asked Questions

What technology do I need for a telehealth visit?

A phone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone, plus a stable internet connection. We use a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, and we'll send you a direct link a few minutes before your appointment. No software downloads, no separate accounts, no troubleshooting calls. If you can do a video call with a family member, you can do a telehealth visit with us.

Yes. We use a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform with end-to-end encryption. Your medical information is protected at the same standard as any in-office visit, and the platform is approved for clinical use under federal privacy regulations.

For most service lines, yes. Initial consultations, lab interpretation, plan-building, and follow-ups all run through telehealth. The exceptions are listed above: hormone pellet insertions, CGM placement, IV nutrient services, and aesthetic procedures require an in-office visit. Your provider will tell you exactly which visits require which format during the planning conversation.

That's the model. Telehealth is designed for patients who don't live near the office. We see patients across California, from San Diego to the Bay Area to the Central Valley, and the visits are no different than they'd be for someone in Thousand Oaks. The only consideration is whether you have a service that requires an occasional in-office visit, in which case we plan that travel in advance.

Sante Health is a cash-pay practice, the same for telehealth as for in-office care. Superbills can be provided for select visit types so you can submit to your carrier for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We accept major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Zelle, and we're transparent about pricing before booking.

Yes. Lovelle is licensed to practice in California and has full prescribing authority for the services we offer (GLP-1 medical therapy, hormone optimization, supplementation protocols, and related care). Prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy of choice.

For patients who live outside the Conejo Valley, we typically batch in-office services into a single visit (a pellet insertion, CGM placement, and any other hands-on care on the same trip). Most patients on our pellet therapy or CGM protocols come in two to four times a year. Everything else stays virtual.
