Comprehensive Hormone Optimization for Men & Women

Hormones influence nearly every aspect of health—including energy, metabolism, mood, cognition, sleep, body composition, sexual wellness, and healthy aging. At Sante Health, our physician-led hormone optimization program combines comprehensive laboratory testing, symptom assessment, and evidence-based treatment to develop personalized plans for both men and women through The Sante Method.

What Hormone Optimization Looks Like Here

Hormone optimization begins with understanding the complete picture—not simply treating laboratory values. At Sante Health, we evaluate symptoms, comprehensive hormone testing, metabolic health, lifestyle factors, body composition, and long-term health goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

We look at free and total testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, cortisol rhythm, thyroid (TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, antibodies), hematocrit, fasting insulin, HbA1c, a lipid panel with particle detail, inflammatory markers, and the nutrient cofactors that influence hormone metabolism. Those values are then interpreted against your symptoms, history, and goals, not a one-size reference range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I a candidate for hormone optimization?

If you're an adult 35–75 with symptoms of hormonal decline (fatigue, mood changes, weight resistance, low drive, cognitive fog, sleep disruption) and prior care has stopped at a basic panel, you're likely a candidate. The assessment itself confirms candidacy; we do not prescribe without data.

TRT refers to testosterone replacement for men. BHRT refers to bioidentical hormone replacement for women (estradiol, progesterone, and sometimes testosterone). Pellets are a sustained-release delivery option usable inside either pathway, not a separate category of hormone.

Most of it, yes. Assessments, lab reviews, plan-building, and follow-up visits are conducted securely online. Pellet insertions and certain clinical procedures require an in-office visit at our Westlake Village location. The booking flow flags any in-office appointments in advance.

Most patients report early changes in sleep, mood, or energy within 3–6 weeks. Body composition and sustained markers typically shift by 8–12 weeks, which is when we pull follow-up labs. Hormone care is iterative, so the full arc runs across the first 3–6 months.

Sante is a cash-pay practice. We provide superbills for select visit types that patients may submit to their insurance for possible reimbursement. Payment options include all major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Zelle.

The default hormone panel is detailed in the Service Overview above. It covers endocrine, metabolic, and inflammatory markers so interpretation reflects system-wide patterns. Prior labs you bring are factored in so you're not paying for tests you've already run.
